The Sangeet is one of the most joyful pre-wedding celebrations in Sikh and Punjabi tradition — an evening of music, dance, and performances where both families come together to celebrate the couple.
For Simran and Jack, their sangeet was filled with color, dancing, and joy, bringing both families together ahead of their wedding day.
SIKH CEREMONY
WHAT IS A SIKH CEREMONY?
The Anand Karaj, meaning “Blissful Union,” is the traditional Sikh wedding ceremony. The couple circles the Guru Granth Sahib four times while hymns are sung, symbolizing the spiritual and lifelong bond they’re forming together.
For Simran and Jack, the Sikh ceremony honored Simran’s family traditions and heritage, creating one of the most meaningful moments of their wedding weekend.
