Their Story
A Hindu Wedding Framed in Red Roses at Hummingbird Nest Ranch
Saloni and Sagar wanted a wedding that honored their traditions and felt rooted in the natural beauty around them. Set among the rolling hills and oak trees of Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California, the celebration was romantic and deeply meaningful from start to finish.
Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Hindu ceremony beneath a mandap draped in rich red florals and fragrant roses. Later the celebration moved under a glowing canopy of twinkling lights.
From the lush floral design by 2Create Designs to the serene outdoor setting, every detail was chosen to feel timeless, warm, and unmistakably theirs.
CEREMONY
CEREMONY
A Hindu wedding ceremony takes place beneath a mandap, a sacred canopy that represents the home the couple will build together. Guided by a priest, the couple moves through rituals that have been passed down for generations, each one marking a promise to one another and to their families.
Among the most recognizable moments is the exchange of floral garlands, a symbol of acceptance and respect. The couple also takes the sacred steps around the fire, each step a vow for their life together.
For Saloni and Sagar, the mandap became the heart of the day. It was framed in deep red roses by 2Create Designs and set against the ranch’s oak trees, giving their vows a setting that felt both grand and intimate.

RECEPTION
As evening fell over the ranch, Saloni and Sagar traded their ceremony attire for reception looks and stepped onto a dance floor glowing beneath hundreds of strands of string lights.
The sweetheart stage featured a red velvet sofa framed by gold candelabras, white taper candles, and towering arrangements of red roses. Guests gathered beneath the twinkling canopy for heartfelt toasts, great energy, and a dance floor that stayed full all night.
BEHIND THE PLANNING
Behind every effortless wedding weekend is months of thoughtful planning. Multicultural weddings involve balancing multiple ceremony traditions, family logistics, vendor coordination, guest experience, and countless moving pieces.
For this celebration we coordinated: multiple ceremonies across two cultures • cultural ceremony logistics • vendor management • family timelines • transportation • ceremony transitions • reception production
This is where thoughtful planning allows families to remain fully present while every detail unfolds seamlessly.
